ARCHed Kick Off Meeting

This was the first meeting of our Small Collaboration Partnership within ARCHed project. It took place in Poland, Sypniewo 18-20.01.2019 hosted by Kawalkada Sports Club.

This meeting gave us a chance to get to know each other better, to assign tasks between Partners and to set the schedule for our common workshops for trainers for the whole year in advance. Each Partner sent 3 representatives from its sports club - 2 HBA trainers and 1 partner project coordinator (who also could be an HBA trainer). We discussed how the project should be run and what we need to do to achieve the goals of this project.

Apart from the theoretical and conceptual work we also had a practical workshop led by Wojtek Osiecki - the first of our external expert in the HBA training. Wojtek taught our team of trainers his method of thumb shooting (one of several different methods of shooting in HBA). All workshops took place indoors as it was quite cold outside, we were lucky to practice in an indoor arena. We had ground and on horse exercises during which we could test our skills. It was also a chance to exchange our experiences and techniques we use at our sports clubs.
