Last ARCHed workshop and competition

The last ranked competition of the season took place at Kawalkada on October 11-13, 2019. It was a competition ending the equestrian season of horseback archery in Poland and the final round of the Wielkopolska Championships and the Wielkopolska Cup. We had our last meeting of partners of the ARCH-ed project co-financed by Erasmus + Sport programme during that time.

It was a great opportunity for the others (spectators and competitors) to meet all project members and to find out about our project and its results. All partners met a day earlier to participate in a special workshop by Wojtek Osiecki (external expert). Unfortunately the rain changed our plans and we stayed inside for theoretical training. Wojtek discussed the importance of proper preparations for a competition.

Luckily, the next days brought a beautiful weather for our internal competition. Our team of trainers who participated throughout the project competed with other competitors mainly from Poland and Germany. During the next three days we have competed in three different track styles: Hungarian, Korean and Battle Track.

We were very sad to have to say good bye to one another with the project’s end.
